Like a flashback to Underworld, Sasha, Fluke and Orbital, so is AntiGravity. |

I've gotten a few requests for more information about plugins, software, and gear used in new tracks. I thought I'd start answering these questions (and bridge the gap between viewers and listeners) by starting this series. These first two installments should set the pace nicely, mixing music, eye candy, live screen captures, and information about the projects. Enjoy. #1 - En Route (I Will Be OK remix)
#2 - I Just Wanted to Tell You Something also available as high-quality .wmv:: En Route (I Will Be OK remix) - 91.6MB I Just Wanted to Tell You Something - 187MB |

Music Evolution starts now |

The hardest part of releasing any song is that I always want to tweak something later without launching a whole new project. So beginning today, songs in the Music section will include a version number. Now whenever there's significant change to a song (new instrumentation, new arrangement or mix, etc) it will be posted as an updated or separate version. Projected benefits: 1. I usually want to try an idea several ways. This lets me go through multiple approaches and produce several sub-mixes that can stand on their own. 2. With more versions available, the variety (and hopefully the appeal) will widen. 3. Previous projects can be easily updated, keeping them fresh and relevant. 4. Those who actually follow my music projects will be able to keep as updated as they wish, and keep a progressive catalog. 5. Exploration - new patterns emerge as updates turn old ideas into anthems and combinations of tracks can create incredible mixes. By using this open-ended approach, interested parties can watch as the songs cause each other to evolve. ...Because if I enjoy listening to it, someone else out there probably will too. Stay tuned. This is all there is to the studio. Click to see full-size. |

On February 2nd, I found out about and began working this year's RPM Challenge - an open contest where participants record an entire album (defined here as 10 tracks or 35 minutes of new material) during the month of February. Expect to see new tracks released at record speed as I plow through new ideas and techniques - three are already available in the Music section and on my RPMC page. click for fill-size RPM09 cover image |

Partly to offer a cure-all solution to AMD x64 and Mac notebook users, the original line of USB NES/SNES controllers is once again available. They don't support Mouse Mode like Compwnents counterparts, but they are definitely the best way around USB ports which might be called... fussy. You can find 'em in the Thinkshop. |

It's a zombie-eat-brain world out there and if the Polls are any indication, zombies trump just about everything else. So to raise awareness for Phreque's new line of Zombie Proof gear, this commercial has been created. Spread the word; it's better to be safe than zombie.
